Northern Cape Rangers Celebrate World Ranger Day
Northern Cape Rangers Celebrate World Ranger Day at their Springbok District Office with Delicious Braai. World Ranger Day is celebrated world wide each year on July 31st to commemorate Rangers killed or injured in the line of duty, and to celebrate the work rangers do to protect the planet's natural treasures as well as the cultural heritage.
The theme for World Ranger Day is "30 by 30,building on the momentum from the 2022 United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 15)
The Nababiep Nature Reserve, Gamsberg Nature Reserve and Goegap Nature Reserve were all in attendance.
