As part of our build up towards Women’s Day, the department hosted an awareness session focusing on coastal care as well as economic opportunities for women in the environmental, agricultural and coastal space, in Port Nolloth.
The session was set-up to enlighten and engage in conversations that support and positively move the community forward around socio economic opportunities.
The awareness campaign fuels the fire in equipping our community and more specifically, women, with the necessary knowledge on what the department’s aims are and how it aligns itself with government's vision and mission.
Together we strive towards a transformed agriculture and sustainable environment.
