SPOIL YOURSELF WITH FREE ACCESS TO PROVINCIAL NATURE RESERVES
As part of encouraging and promoting our Provincial Nature Reserves to our communities the Northern Cape the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform, Rural Development, Environment and Nature Conservation is hosting the Nature Reserves Open Week from the 29th September till the 09th October 2023.
The reserve’s Open Week seeks to appreciate the significance of our natural reserves and resources. It is an annual event hosted in September/October during the school holiday recess for families, friends and organisations.
The initiative also seeks to benefit the local communities around the nature reserves – thus by educating and creating a platform for them, and to create awareness on conservation related issues.
The adventure seekers who pursue to unwind the nature’s serenity will be spoiled for choice as these reserves have lot to offer. The offers ranges from camping and braaing sites, hiking and 4X4 trails, game drives and those who wish to stay over can book chalets.
The reserves are located as follows and for more information please contact the following Nature Reserves Marketing officials;
