Dept Concludes the Week-long Cleaning and Keeping Your Environment Clean Campaign
Elizabeth Conradie Special School in Southridge, Kimberley was a hype of activity when the team concluded the week-long Cleaning and Keeping your Environment Clean Campaign as part of the Eco-schools programme.
The school caters for learners with special needs such as slow learning, ADHD, Cerable palsy and Autism. The school also offers multiple streams of education and skills development training including environmental education. It boost itself of an established food garden that produces butternut, pumpkin, green beans, tomatoes, and others.
The presence of nature (even just views) helps student recover from mental fatigue and stress.
